Participation Conditions

The following participation conditions apply to all first aid courses booked via this website. Please read them carefully before registering.

1. Prerequisites

The following prerequisites apply for participation in the first aid course:

  • Minimum age is generally 14 years (for driving licence applicants according to the requirements of the driving licence authority).
  • A valid ID card or passport must be presented on the day of the course.
  • Comfortable clothing is recommended as practical exercises will be performed.
  • Participants should be physically able to take part in practical exercises. Please inform us of any limitations in advance.

2. Binding Registration

Registration via this website is binding. It only becomes effective when the confirmation link (double opt-in) sent via email is clicked within 48 hours. Without confirmation, the registration expires automatically. By confirming, you accept these participation conditions and the General Terms and Conditions.

3. Course Schedule

The course comprises 9 teaching units of 45 minutes each and generally takes place from 09:00 to approx. 16:30 (incl. breaks). The contents are based on the guidelines of the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) and include:

  • Securing the accident scene and emergency call
  • Recovery position and unconsciousness
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Wound care and bandaging
  • Using a defibrillator (AED)
  • Further emergency measures

4. Certificate

The certificate of participation according to § 19 FeV is only issued when the participant:

  • arrives on time (check-in at 09:00, course starts no later than 09:15)
  • fully participates in all 9 teaching units
  • actively takes part in practical exercises
  • presents a valid ID card or passport
Late arrival or early departure may result in the certificate being withheld.

5. Cancellation and Rebooking

Free cancellation or rebooking is possible up to 48 hours before the course starts – via the corresponding links in the confirmation email. After this deadline, cancellation is no longer possible. A processing fee may be charged for unexcused absence. For further details, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.

6. Course Fees

The course fee is paid on-site on the day of the course (cash or debit card, depending on location). Current prices can be found on the dates page during booking. Course materials and the certificate are included in the price.

7. Conduct During the Course

We ask all participants to treat each other with respect. The course instructor is entitled to exclude participants for disruptive behaviour. In this case, there is no entitlement to a certificate or refund of the course fee.

8. Course Language

The course is conducted exclusively in German. Sufficient German language skills are required to follow the course contents and participate in practical exercises.
